Wow!! 14 year anniversary this year…… 14 years ago I opened my first dance club to just 10 children and we are now having the time of our lives, Performing sell-out shows, travelling the world, meeting amazing & inspiring people, collecting national and international awards and living our dreams teaching 100s of children throughout the county.

The WWAD dance and musical theatre company is run by me, Melissa Mcphee, and my partner Andrew. We hold classes in Milford Haven, Pembroke Dock, and Haverfordwest. We endeavour to make our classes challenging but fun, upbeat and exciting.  With our regular shows you get a chance to show off your new-found skills in our annual shows, which have now been running for 9 years!

We have many different classes which you can take part in, covering age 3 through to adults, and there is something to suit everyone.

 After WWAD reached the final 200 for Britian’s Got Talent it gave us the great publicity to allow us to really get our work with young people recognised.

I see the importance of having a focus and challenge in life as-well as having people around you that you know that you trust and really feeling part of something. 
As a dancer/performer it is also important to make sure that while taking important theory, practical and written study, you can not beat hands on experience.

Children are taught in a safe and secure environment all staff are CRB checked, Fully Qualified and Registered. West Wales Academy of Dance is a member of a global examination board in all styles of dance and drama, The United Kingdom Alliance and a corporate member of the British Dance Council.

With examinations taken once yearly in all disciplines achieving very good results, West Wales Academy of Dance and the founder are very proud of our 100% pass rate. 

We believe that performing can bring the very best out of you; it makes you feel good, it helps you to make friends, build confidence, keep fit and can take you to many exciting places across the world. Dance and Theatre Arts fills my life with magic and there is plenty to go round, so what are you waiting for!
